Truck Driving Experience
Enjoy a truly unique adrenaline rush with this thrilling truck driving experience. Your heart will race as you take control of a powerful 480bhp DAF tractor unit – coupled up to a monstrous Race car Transporter – and steer it around a purpose-made course. This 55ft monster boasts a whopping 16 gears, and your professional HGV instructor will be right beside you as you learn a range of exciting skills.
Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person at Elvington, Tockwith, Longcross and Proving Ground. Your voucher is valid for 12 months at Barton Stacey, Blyton Park and Throckmorton. At Dunsfold Airfield, the Southern Dunsfold Track is available at no extra cost Monday-Friday or for a supplement of £25 on weekends, or you may upgrade to the main track for a supplement of £25 Monday-Friday and £50 on weekends. A full UK driving licence is required for this experience. You must be at least 17 years old Elvington, Longcross and Proving Ground. You must be at least 16 years old at Barton Stacey, Blyton Park and Throckmorton. Minimum height – 5’0ft/152cm at Elvington, Longcross and Proving Ground. Minimum height is 145cm at Barton Stacey, Blyton Park and Throckmorton. Those under the influence of alcohol will not be able to participate. All spectators under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, which cannot be the driver. Only three spectators are allowed at the circuit. They must sit in the cab during the experience. Car Chase Heroes don’t host events during December or January due to weather conditions. This voucher is valid Friday-Sunday on selected dates each month – an average of 1 date per month per track at Barton Stacey, Blyton Park and Throckmorton. Driving time, including instruction will last approximately 10-15 minutes. You should allow 2 hours for your experience. Trainers or soft-soled shoes are required for this experience. There is no photography service at the truck circuit so feel free to bring your own photography equipment. All dates are subject to availability. Customers must bring valid Photo ID and voucher. Customers must bring their credit card if they are opting out of the £25 damage waiver. Each driver must sign an indemnity form stating that he or she is fit and healthy and is not suffering from any medical conditions that may affect his or her ability to safely drive the vehicle. Each customer will be offered an optional damage waiver of £25 which covers them against the £5,000 excess if any damage is cause to the vehicle. Drivers who opt out of the damage waiver will be liable for the first £5,000 worth of damage – for these drivers, credit card details will be taken upon sign on. These details will then be destroyed at the end of the event if no damage is caused to the vehicle and no charges will be made.
