Shakespeare’s Globe Guided Tour with Afternoon Tea for Two
Visit the iconic Shakespeare’s Globe with a friend and enjoy a tour of the building, where you will be shown around the theatre and learn all about the historical backdrop of the original Globe Theatre it was modelled on. You’ll also get access to the Shakespeare Exhibition, where you can learn more about the man behind the pen, his world and influences. Combined with this fascinating tour is a delightful afternoon tea at the Swan restaurant, located within the building. You and your partner will tuck into a delicious spread of tea, sandwiches, scones and an arrangement of baked goods and dessert – all while seated in stylish surroundings that overlook gorgeous views of St Paul’s and the Thames. A must-visit for all devotees of Shakespeare, literature and of course afternoon tea!
You will receive two vouchers – both are valid for two people. This experience is valid week round, year round excluding the 24th, 25th and 26th December and afternoon tea served between 1.30pm and 3pm. Opening hours vary please check upon booking. As it is a working theatre, tour times vary due to performance schedules or sometimes take place during rehearsals (an exclusive look at the rehearsal process). Please note that in December, afternoon tea is not available. Opening times vary depending on the time of year – please check when booking. Guides tours take place in all weathers. There is no dress code, but we recommend visitors wear appropriate clothing and footwear as our tours take place outdoors. Swan Bar & Restaurant and café is located on site. Gift Shop can be accessed via the main entrance and is open to the public all day (no ticket required). Please ensure you inform the restaurant of any dietary requirements in advance. Your visit must be booked and redeemed by the expiry date printed on your voucher. Pre-booking is essential and all dates are subject to availability.
