Land Away Flying Lesson

Take to the skies for a 60 minute flying lesson and leave land far behind! All the processes and basic manoeuvres you’ll need to learn to pilot the aircraft yourself will be demonstrated by your expert instructor at Durham Airfield. When you’re fully prepared it’s your turn to take the reins, don’t worry though your instructor will be right there by your side for support and guidance. There is no need for your aviation adventure to end here as you can put the time from this lesson towards your pilot’s licence.

This voucher is valid for 10 months for one person and includes a 60 minute flight experience on an Ikarus C42 Bravo with a full safety briefing and tutorial. This experience is available week round, 9am to 7pm, year round. Minimum age is 14 years, maximum weight is 18 stone. This experience is not suitable if you suffer from vertigo, epilepsy or if you’re pregnant. You are advised to wear comfortable clothes and to allow two hours for this experience.
