Overview
Come face to face with some weird and wonderful aquatic creatures with a two-hour shark dive experience for two people at The Bear Grylls Adventure in Birmingham. With all diving and safety equipment provided, you’ll be kitted up and briefed by the expert dive team before you warm up and master the skills in the training pool. Once you’re ready to take the plunge, enjoy up to 25 minutes in the oceanarium where you’ll get up close and personal with Nurse Sharks, Black Tip Reef Sharks and 800 other fascinating species. Upon completion of the dive, you’ll receive a PADI beginners’ certificate and each dive generates a donation to The Shark Trust. Enjoy another challenge during your visit with full access to the Royal Marines-inspired Assault Course.

- This activity lasts for two hours
- All participants must complete a waiver upon check in, plus a Dive medical form. If anything on the medical form applies, the guest must seek a doctor’s note confirming they are fit and able to take part and have the note with them on the day. This activity is not suitable for pregnant people
- Minimum age: 10 years
- Guests aged 10–16 years must have an adult present at check-in to sign waivers, but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied. Parents with children aged 10–13 years must stay on site throughout
- It is recommended that participants wear comfortable active wear. Wetsuits are provided but participants must bring their own swimwear and a towel
- If visibility is impaired without glasses, please bring a prescription mask
- Please refrain from wearing makeup or remove any makeup before entering the tank
- Free on-site lockers are available to store valuables and loose items
