Fun and Informative
30 March 2019
The Windsor Bike Tour was a real treat. Trish our guide was full of enthusiasm from start to the finish. She had a wealth of stories throughout the tour from the historical to the quirky. Trish clearly has a love for all things Windsor. The tour takes you along the Thames, to Dorney Lake then back to the Castle. You get to see Windsor from a different side to the traditional views and the route uncovers some delightful surprises along the way. The stop off location for a rest and a drink is perfect too with a wide range drinks, cakes and pastries to tuck into. There is a fair bit of cycling (the clue is in the title) but Trish designed the tour around our pace. I would definitely recommend this experience. It was great fun to cycle around such interesting places plus the bonus of a keen and knowledgeable guide made the tour one to remember

A great way to explore Windsor
08 August 2017
This was a really enjoyable and chilled way to explore Windsor and the surrounding countryside. The route was mostly along he river on canal paths, flat, and with only a small section of road. Our guide Trisha was very friendly and informative and had a great sense of humour too - she really made it fun! The route stops mid-way at Dorney Court which is a lovely setting and a great opportunity to sit in their garden cafe with a coffee and scone. The second half takes in the Olympic rowing lake at Eton and back along the river to the end point. A great way to spend 3-hours learning some history of the area & castle, and taking in some great views, followed by a trip to the castle itself. Would recommend!

This bike ride is a must do if you're visiting Windsor. The tour takes you to the hidden gems of the area and amazing views of the castle. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about Windsor and Eton. I would recommend the cream scones when you stop at the local cafe. Enjoy your bike ride.

A Definite Must Do!
19 May 2012
What a brilliant and unique way of seeing Eaton and Windsor. The bikes were easy to ride; the route flat and we went at our own speed, with the occasional stop for sightseeing and refreshment. John our guide was friendly, attentive and full of historical facts and very amusing trivia that made the eight-miles pass so quickly. After a pub lunch in Windsor, John escorted us up to Windsor Castle to be let loose to tour this magnificent and historic building on our own for the remains of the afternoon. An extra bonus: if you get your Windsor Castle ticket stamped, you can return free within the year, and there is so much to see, you might need it! A superb day. N and M

We had a fantastic day out. John is a wonderful guide, the bikes are easy to ride, the route is flat and picturesque, and his antecdotes make the day. It was so interesting but casual, with plenty of stops. It did not feel like an 8 mile journey. We ran out of time looking around Windsor Castle and will go back again. We will definitely do the Hampton Court trip in the near future. Thanks John for a memorable day.

Fantastic day out!
10 April 2012
We did the Windsor tour by bike in April and it was brilliant. It was a present for my mum's birthday from me and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The cycle was easy, flat and you could go at your own speed. Our guide John told us so many interesting things along the way, I learnt so much in one day! We saw some amazing sights, had a pub lunch and ended up at Windsor castle. It is great value for money and I would recommend it to anyone. We will be going back to do the Hampton court tour soon!
