Extended BMW M4 Driving Experience at Oulton Park 10222503

Richard held the initial briefing for the drivers. He was excellent, good delivery and covered the topics with clarity. My instructor for my driving around the circuit was Kevin. He was also excellent, coaxing me onto the right racing line, reminding me of the braking points and apexes. When I had negotiated the corner Kevin bellowed at me for more and more speed, especially on the straight past the pits: I loved that. My favourite section was the blast up the hill to Druids Corner. A great Sunday morning. We didn’t try any of the food at the event.

I was really impressed with the venue (Oulton Park) as I'd only ever seen it on TV. It was extremely well kept & all staff were friendly & helpful. The fleet of identical livereried BMW M4s (with roll cages fitted) were imaculately prepped and the instructors also very friendly & professional. The experience was geared towards any level of expertise & you could push towards the limits if inclined to do so. I would highly recommend the venue, cars & overall experience and I'd do it again tomorrow.

Really good fun if you are into cars or not. The instructors don't hold you back so you get chance to really experience the potential of these pretty awesome cars! Would recommend it to anyone.

Had a great time on the M4 extended driving experience. Was a really great gift and I would highly recommend to anyone and would do it all again. The instructors are really friendly and great at explaining the track and the best course to take. The extended gives you the chance to learn the course during the 1st 15 mins then you can push yourself on the final 15 mins. The instructor ride shows you exactly how the car can handle!!

I was supposed to do single seater at divers tone but had shoulder op so could not do it ,so decided on the m3 bmw excellent had a fantastic morning would highly recommend

This M3 Master Experience was brilliant as you get a full 30 minutes in the cars. I was able to use fully automatic gearbox in the first session and then switch to paddles in the second - more to think about but even more suited to releasing the full power of the V8. The instructors are all very friendly and certainly don't hold you back or anything but it would be good for individual feedback between the two sessions as to where you can improve. It's all a bit hectic taking it all in during the laps. Having done other track days in Ferrari's etc I can say this was a lot better as you feel more at home in the car with it being a family saloon! The passenger ride at the end is a bonus but makes you realise how slow you were actually going! The other downside is driving home in your own car!

An early start on a sunday but hey ho, arrived in plenty of time to check in, (another participant ran off with my driving licence, had to chase after him, he said he was still asleep, mental note to self, dont get too close to him when on the track). My trainer Mark was fantastic, very calm, gave directions all the way, first time out a little on the slow side, got lapped by other drivers, but hey ho, had time to learn how to take the bends, second time, wow, what power in that engine, OMG it was amazing, I reached over 100 mph on the straight and went into a bend at 50. Scored 89/100 well pleased with that. then a lap with Simon, O>M>G> his first lap with 1.25 secs. my lap with him was 59 secs. Dear lord, it was amazing. Had a great time and would love to do it again. Was shattered all the rest of the day.
