Booked this spa day for me and my friend for my birthday yesterday and it was lovely! The only downside to the whole day I'd say was the lack of loungers in the spa. Luckily it was a quiet day so we didnt struggle getting one too much but it did let it down.

Experienced the most relaxing mother and daughter day. Massage, facial, swim, steam, sauna, delicious (and generous) lunch - with a glass of fizz. Staff at the spa and hotel were attentive, professional and welcoming. Can't fault the experience

Nice basic spa day

Good for a simple/basic spa day, not luxury. Facilities are tired and dated. A temporary relaxation room consists of just a few massage beds popped in a side room. No dimmed lights or music to even help set a nice ambience. Pool is dated and swimming in lanes only for the whole time we were there. Light lunch was better than expected although the service was very haphazard. Courses coming out at different times to my partner and long waits for drinks etc.
The Elemis massage was a little lack lustre too.
The buyagift service was excellent, very helpful in changing dates and arranging! Thanks

Research the hotel facilities before you book!

For the price, I was really disappointed. Walking to the hotel I was really impressed, but as soon as we got to the spa bit I was really let down. It was absolutely full of small children, about 6 loungers which were taken up by parents with babies (we couldn't get one until later). There is NO jacuzzi and NO sauna! Our treatments were really good, we had a massage and a facial and our therapists were both really great. The hotel was nice and lunch was included. However, the pudding was a small bowl of frozen fruit which was pretty sour. I don't think this particular hotel should sell a spa day because it really isn't up to standard. The only reason for the 2 stars is because the treatments were really good.

A lovely spa day for my friend and I, such great value to be had with great savings (much cheaper than booking direct with the spa) I booked it the day before and got went the following day
