Staff were lovely and so helpfull full access to spa for the whole day 50 minute treatment that was amazing ?? and afternoon tea !! Would definitely go again

Lovely pool and jacuzzi with loungers to relax on. Nice thick robes and towels. The treatments were really good and the therapists were welcoming and friendly. The afternoon tea was yummy. Overall a lovely relaxing day shared with good friends.

This was the second visit to this spa, and one special day. I love it the buy a gift experience is amazing, will highly recommend both

My sisters and I were bought this for Christmas by our parents. First thing I’ll say is how hard it is getting through to the spa. I tried to ring about 8 times in order to book additional treatments and ask some questions. The only way I got through was ringing the main reception and asking for them to call me back. I needed to try and get through the day before our spa day and again I called the reception who told me they would email the spa and marked it as urgent to call me back, they never bothered phoning me. The whole spa day felt quite unorganised, no one seemed to be working with each other within different departments. The spa front desk told us we needed to book our lunch at the hotel reception, so we had to walk back around there, the lady on reception told us the spa staff could’ve booked us on! Spa is a bit dated but seemed clean and well looked after. Treatment was pretty good but only about 35 mins in total, should be 50 mins treatment time. It did not take me 15 mins to put my clothes on and off before and after the treatment! A couple of mins is sufficient in allowing time to undress and redress, then allowing for longer treatment time. The foot ritual is meant to be 10 mins long, the lady massages my feet for about 2 mins per foot. My sister said the same therapist who I had massaged her feet for about 30 seconds per foot. When we arrived for our treatment time the therapist seemed to have no idea what was going on and what treatments we were having. However once we got through that, the treatment was nice and relaxing (just felt rushed). Afternoon tea could be better. The scones and cakes were lovely but the sandwiches were not very nice. I asked for two more finger sandwiches and was charged a £1 per finger. The sandwiches are very heavy on mayo which I don’t eat. There is no afternoon tea menu to look at so you don’t know what you’re getting until it arrives at the table, if I had known prior I would’ve asked for different sandwiches.

We had a reasonable day but it could have been better. I never received confirmation of our booking which if I had I would have seen that the treatment times were not idea and I could Have phoned and asked them to book my friend and myself the same treatment time at no point when I booked us in did they say our treatments followed on from each other so we had to sit on our own while the other person had theirs ? the idea of a spa day is to spend it doing things together. plus they didn't mention that children are allowed in the pool until 11oclock and as its been hot it was busy so we decided to go and get a drink from the bar. Nobody to be seen so had to go to reception to chase someone up. once we got to have our treatment that was really nice maybe they just need more staff and a bit of training ? afternoon tea was lovely.

I had a lovely birthday celebration afternoon at this spa, facilities are good and staff very helpful. Really enjoyed my lovely treatments and the spa staff had offered helpful advice on booking my day to arrange the elements perfectly. It was a busy weekend so there was some delay with afternoon tea but it was handled well by staff and a slow pace on a relaxing weekend was no issue in this case.

Was informed the evening before that the steam room was out of action. No slippers available to spent whole day walking round barefoot. Asked for plane sandwiches like just Cheese or Gam and given Ham and Mustard.

I really enjoyed this experience, staff very friendly, treatments very relaxing and spa time very apt, lovely.. Will do it again, when l can.

Arrived early for a gym session, check in was great and staff really helpful. Received a call whilst in the gym to say that unfortunately one of the treatments was unavailable due to staff illness, but that would give me another full day for free. Ok. After gym spoke to team lead and re-organised treatment for later that day and also booked in for another treatment day. Spent time in the facilities and went back at my time for treatment. Waited about 15 mins and then went back to check I had the right time. Apparently the therapist had taken someone else instead as she’d asked the receptionists if that was the right person. Did get my treatment, but it wasn’t quite the relaxing day I’d planned. Afternoon tea was nice, but I’d recommend you get changed first as you have to walk through hotel reception! Finger crossed my next day is a little more organised.
