Greedy rail workers ruin weekend

Because of rail strikes I couldn’t get to London to see the show we had booked. The guy I spoke with on here was amazing. I told him my problem and he then asked for 3 alternative dates I could do and then went on to contact the venue and change the booking for me. Saved wasting our voucher

Had a wonderful evening watching some incredible talent. The show was fun, sassy and endearing.
We got “upgraded” by theatre staff as there were lots of seats infilled. However the seats were much more far left than our original ones, so parts of the stage were not visible to us in the end which was a shame.

When purchasing the tickets I was not made aware of the limited seat choices you get. You have to sit right at the back. The view we could cope with because it's a small theatre but the show itself was so boring we walked out 15 minutes into the 2nd half. I grew up reading Matilda lots of times and was so disappointed that the story line is completely different.

The cast and the musical was brilliant although don't think it should have been made in to a musical was taken away from the film

Whilst we had a good time in the end, we didn’t expect to have such difficulty booking a show without paying a hefty supplement. It says that some shows may need a supplement, but be warning this was most of them… and a large one at that. Unless you want a restricted view seat, 8 months from now midweek. Probably better to just go to the box office on the day!
