Overview

At the historic Black Gate in Oswestry is Niche Patisserie, a family run bakery led by pastry chef, Adam Cleal, who appeared in the semi-finals of Bake Off: The Professionals in 2019. You’ll get to sample the best fine pastries on offer with The Niche Afternoon Tea Experience for two people. Tuck into the patisserie’s signature pastries, all hand-made by the team and with flavours to tempt the tastebuds, plus a selection of tasty finger sandwiches, savoury delights and homemade scones with clotted cream and jam. For the finishing touch, sip on your choice of speciality teas and coffees as you sit back in the luxurious lounge area.

Beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I highly recommend Niche Patisserie for afternoon tea or just coffee and cake. The staff were very friendly and attentive too. Thank you

This was a Mother's Day treat from my daughter, which was really super. We enjoyed the most delicious afternoon tea in a lovely relaxed atmosphere! We would definitely recommend and hope to come back for a return visit in the not too distant future.
