poor experience

We were sat in a strange place in the middle of a wide corridor en route to the toilets. Paper napkins and unsuitable and tarnished cutlery. Large thick dinner plates used. No specialty teas offered. Coffee arrived in a teapot - no cafetiere. Sandwiches fresh, but basic. Scones warm, but very small. All cakes were cut from a large square cake, and thrown on to the lower cake stand. The one with cream in the middle had not defrosted. no dainties - no fruit of any description. Once seated no-one came to ask how things were. In short - a very basic, no frills experience which we could have done better at home. One star out of 5
