Dukes of Hazzard General Lee Driving Blast Experience 10250422

Had a great time driving big the General Lee. Busy but well organised this made and easy enjoyable experience. Terry my instructor was great, full of knowledge about the cars. Would recommend.

Didn’t get to drive the general lee as booked as engine had packed up had to make do with Dom’s charger. Although the flying quick lap they gave me was spot on as a sorry

Booked Dukes gift drive for my boyfriend as his birthday present last year as he loves dukes of hazzard. Got to venue, Castle Combe in plenty of time. When he approached the team organising the drive he was told the General Lee car is broken and he wouldn't be able to drive it that day. No fore warning prior to arriving at the track otherwise we may have rescheduled the session. He ended up in the 'bumble bee' car and did enjoy the drive but not what I bought for him so we were both disappointed. He did get 3 laps instead of 2 which was a nice thing for them to do.

Despite the weather being challenging for the organisers, it was an absolute privilege to drive this iconic vehicle. I had a superb experience.

First of all voucher stated validity every day of week but this was an error on behalf of Buy a Gift. Offered a refund but by this time we were ready to book so had to pay surcharge for Saturday. Great experience itself but provider wanted to rip us off as much as possible. Charged for Saturday, extremely pressured to buy the waiver (only other option was to hold £5k on debit card for ten days). Extra for more laps and extra for photos. Felt they used every opportunity to get extra money. Would never do with this provider and Buy a Gift again.

We got the voucher for Christmas and looked online when booking and found you could pick from around half a dozen cars. I’ve driven Eleanor and the gt40 last time so when I saw it was possible to drive KITT it was a cert. On the day it was rainy which was a shame. Thankfully it slowed while I had my Michael Knight moment but the centre console was supposed to talk to you while driving round but it wasn’t on sadly. Nonetheless it was a great drive. It’s not the fastest car there but it’s good fun. I would definitely like to drive KITT again. The only down side is the cost of extras. I paid £20 for one extra lap. £10 for a lap high speed and £25 for damage waiver. I was going to get the pictures and video but at £39.99 on top of what you’ve already paid was too much. I do think that side needs reevaluating. That’s why I haven’t put it as a 5 star.
