Dad never built anything like this! Spoil your inner child with this fantastic treehouse experience for two. Get back to basics, but with a hint of luxury, as you stay in a specially-designed treehouse on the border of Snowdonia National Park. Each treehouse is built with comfort in mind, and with its own unique style. The houses are kitted out with retro wooden furniture, top-of-the-range beds and a fully-equipped kitchen with gas stove. The cosy eco-friendly treehouses do not require electricity. There is a roaring fire to keep warm and an outdoor spring water shower. Bring your bikes to explore the incredible Welsh countryside or visit the local market town of Machynlleth, full of great independent shops where you can stock up on local produce. The beach is just five miles away, so you will have no shortage of activities to keep you occupied during your trip - you'll never forget a stay like this.

What do I need to know?
- All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
- This voucher is valid for two people
- Available Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, year round, excluding January, with limited availability at busy times
- If you arrive on a Sunday, you may stay an extra night free of charge
- Please book at least 12 months in advance to avoid disappointment
- Primary access to the treehouse is via a spiral staircase – please make clear at the time of booking if this is likely to cause difficulty
- Arrival times are between 3-4pm and departure is before 11am
- You are advised to bring clothes and boots suitable for the outdoors
- The treehouses are fully insulated, with no electricity. Instead you will use solar lanterns, wind-up lamps, tea candles and a specially-designed wood-burning stove – perfect for cooking and heating the water for the spring water shower
- This is a self-catering holiday - you must bring your own food, drinks and towels
- Your car can be driven to within 400 yards of the treehouse site, after which some fairly flat walking on grass is required to access the treehouses
- You are encouraged to bring flip flops for the forest shower and torches for the evening

Wonderful retreat

Whilst the experience would not be everyone's cup of tea, we simply loved the simplicity and feeling of being completely away from it all. It was so quiet, with the constant background sound of the stream. It's amazing how little you need to have such a fantastic time. Will definitely go back, but next time will take fewer clothes and more food.

Absolutely amazing place. 2 nights just aren't enough. With hind sight, more food and less clothes. A radio was a good idea to pack. Would definitely go again and most definitely recommend it

The treehouse was beautiful and in a great private location. There was no one else around, so we could have an outside shower naked, sit on the composting loo with the door open and feel liberated! No electricity meant lots of reading and playing games, walking, chopping wood, swinging on the rope swing, feeding the nuthatches etc. Watched the full moon and clear starry night, and then woke to see the sun rise (yes, we were lucky with the weather).
Lovely way to spend a weekend.

A brilliant Tree House with everything we needed. We weren't sure if we would like the outdoor shower but it was great. Very quiet and peaceful location - perfect.

It was as wonderful as it promised to be on the website. Very secluded and in beautiful surroundings with fabulous views from the mapped walks on the farm. Delightful attention to detail inside, plenty of candles and first hand experience of the dawn chorus. So peaceful, a real escape from the rat race.

What an amazing experience. So beautiful and peaceful. Masses of bluebells, loads of wildlife, lovely walks. We didn't want to leave.
I booked this as a 5th (wood) anniversary gift for myself and my husband. Unfortunately we had to wait a year for the availability. Well worth the wait. The tree house was lovely, with everything we could need on hand. Fab holiday. Can't wait to go again.

Fabulous place if you want to get away from it all. No WiFi or electric. But you really do have everything you need for an extremely comfortable stay. Great pub 20 mins walk away offers great food. Offers either a romantic getaway for two or great adventure for families/kids. Fabulous experience.

This was a unique adventure for the weekend! We loved every minute of it! The weather wasn't great being October but wasn't cold at all and it wasn't a problem apart from we didn't do as much walking as we would of liked around the beautiful Welsh valleys. It just meant we cosied up in the fantastically designed treehouse sat by the majestic wood burner! Drinking wine and playing games, evening meals down the lovely Welsh speaking local pub! Lovely Reece Jones the assistant mAnager keeping us hydrated and entertained! We cooked our fry ups in the morning in the well equipped treehouse kitchen! An exhilarating experience in the morning showers underneath the treehouse! En naturel! Felt like kids again being naughty! Hehe!
